The moderator, Dorothy Thompson, of the writing e-group, The Writer's Life, is proud to announce the grand opening of TWL Author Talks on January 1, 2005.
What is TWL Author Talks?
TWL Author Talks is a new e-group for aspiring, as well as published, authors to have a chance to talk one-on-one with successful authors who have agreed to come in for a couple days up to a week and share their publishing experiences. Haven't you ever wanted to ask one of your favorite authors how they achieved success?
Now is your time!
Beginning January 1, 2005, TWL Author Talks opens its doors to such best selling authors as Christine Feehan, Jennifer Cruisie, Karen Kay, Jenna McKnight, Roxanne St. Claire, Jennifer Blake and more!
Roxanne St. Claire's first novel, Tropical Getaway, was published by Simon & Schuster's Pocket Books in February 2003. In 2004, four more novels will be released, starting with another romantic suspense in February, French Twist. In addition to writing suspense for Pocket Books, Roxanne will release two contemporary romance novels for Silhouette Desire. Roxanne's first "Chick Lit", Hit Reply, a lighthearted look at life's most serious challenges, is scheduled for November, 2004 written under the name Rocki St. Claire.
Jennifer Blake has been called the Steel Magnolia of women's fiction, and a "legend of the romance genre." She is a seventh generation Louisianian who married at 15, began writing at 21, sold her first book at 27, and gained New York Times Best Seller status more than 20 years ago, with LOVE'S WILD DESIRE. She has written more than 50 books, including ROYAL SEDUCTION, SHAMELESS, and her acclaimed Louisiana Gentlemen series. An international best seller as well, she has been published in 18 languages with worldwide sales approaching 30 million. She was honored with the position as Writer-in-Residence for the University of Northeastern Louisiana, and is a charter, and honorary, member of Romance Writers of America.
Christine Feehan has been writing all of her life. Her first book, DARK PRINCE, was accepted by Dorchester Publishing under the Love Spell imprint. A versatile writer, Christine also writes Gothic Romance, as seen in The SCARLETTI INHERITANCE (Love Spell) and A VERY GOTHIC CHRISTMAS (Pocket Books). She is also working on several contemporary romances, as well. Her books are known for their vivid characterizations, steamy passion and interesting background locations. They regularly appear on the New York Times, USA Today, Barnes and Noble and Waldenbooks bestseller lists.
SUSAN WIGGS is the author of the bestselling historical romance novels The Mistress, The Hostage, and The Horsemaster's Daughter. She won the Romantic Times career achievement award and the Romance Writers of America's RITA Award for best historical romance. A dramatic departure from her critically acclaimed and highly popular previous novels, THE YOU I NEVER KNEW is her first full-length work of contemporary fiction. A Harvard graduate and former schoolteacher, she lives on an island in Puget Sound with her husband and daughter.
